(Cybersecurity Curriculum Program) Content Development and Delivery SME/Instructor (ST CDSE DCSA IDD - Linthicum, MD)

Piton Science & Technology is seeking a Content Development and Delivery SMEs/Instructor (Cybersecurity Curriculum Program) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located at the CDSE on site in Linthicum, MD.  The qualified applicant will become part of the team providing the DCSA with training development focused services. The position qualification requirements are as follows.

Certification Requirement:

  • DOD Manual (DODM) 8570.01 Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level III certification with valid certificate.

Education and Experience Requirement:

        EITHER -- 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and at least and at least two (2) years of experience associated with Security Program in security program implementation and operation in the security discipline(s) for which they shall be a SME/Instructor.

       -- OR -- 

  • Five (5) years of experience in security program implementation and operation in the security discipline(s) for which they shall be a SME/Instructor.

Additional Experience Requirement:

  • Mastery of the knowledge, skills, and policy related to their area of subject matter expertise and relevant work experience in their area of subject matter expertise.

Security Clearance Requirement: Position requires a current final Top Secret level with SCI security personnel security clearance (PCL) issued by the DOD. Clearance will be verified in the government system of record.

Preferred but NOT required experience:

  • Two years of experience as an instructor to adult learners, in formal classroom or via distance learning courses, related to DOD Security Policy.
  • Five (5) or more years of work experience associated with the security discipline for which they shall develop course content or instruct.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as SME in the security discipline for which they shall develop course content or instruct.
