Piton Science & Technology is seeking a Technical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located at the CDSE on site in Linthicum, MD.  The qualified applicant will become part of the team providing the DCSA with training development focused services. The position qualification requirements are as follows.

Education and Experience Requirement:

        EITHER -- 

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a field related to information technology and at least two (2) years of progressive experience testing websites, mobile utility and applications, and Section 508-compliant and SCORM-conformant asynchronous eLearning courses using a variety of applications and internet technologies.

       -- OR -- 

  • In lieu of degree, at least five years of similar relevant work experience testing websites, mobile utility and applications, and Section 508-compliant and SCORM-conformant asynchronous eLearning courses using a variety of applications and internet technologies.

Additional Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience with internet protocols such as XML, PHP, HTML5, Cascading Style Sheets, Section 508 requirements.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting deployment of asynchronous eLearning courses on LMSs as well as open-source learning platform and web formats.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience communicating technical terms to non-technical audiences as well as serve as the SME on technologies to support mobile applications.

  • Experience with software applications such as JAWS and JAWS Inspect to ensure that content being developed is Section 508 compliant and web accessible.

Preferred but NOT required experience:

  • Two (2) or more years of experience with rapid eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate/Animate, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Professional Suite to create, develop, or manipulate assets for eLearning courses.

  • Experience with software applications such as ANDI or comparable software to ensure that content being developed is Section 508 compliant and web accessible.

Security Clearance Requirement: Position requires a current final Secret personnel security clearance (PCL) issued by the DOD. Clearance will be verified in the government system of record.
